Services.

Defined roles. Clear purpose.

Appraisal Claims provides nationwide loss appraisal and umpire services for disagreements about the amount of property loss.

The assignment may involve scope, price, or both. Our first responsibility is to establish the role, review the applicable appraisal provision, and identify the materials needed for a sound process.

Policyholder Service

Appraiser for a policyholder.

When the policy's appraisal provision has been invoked, we can serve as the policyholder's competent, independent appraiser for the amount-of-loss dispute. We review estimates, photographs, inspection information, and the claimed scope; identify the points of disagreement; and communicate with the opposing appraiser as the process advances.

Service 03 · Neutral Determination

"The umpire's responsibility is to the process and the evidence—not to either side."

Neutral umpire.

When two appraisers cannot agree, they may submit unresolved differences to an umpire. In that role, Appraisal Claims evaluates the materials and positions presented, asks focused questions where clarification is needed, and remains impartial to the parties.

An award generally requires signatures from any two members of the appraisal panel, subject to the policy and applicable law.
